General appearance and composition:
· Coating material containing solvents, free of aromatics
· MR ® 72 White Contrast Paint serves to lighten the surface of the work piece when performing non fluorescent magnetic particle inspection with MR ® 76 S Magnetic powder suspension black
· Dries quickly and forms a smooth white film
· Testing security is guaranteed at work piece temperatures between +10 °C and +50 °C
· Temperature resistant up to +80 °C
· MR ® 72 White Contrast Paint meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9934 part 2 and may be identified as „free of corrosive ingredients according to DIN EN ISO 9934 part 2“.
· Regarding the contents of corrosive ingredients MR ® 72 White Contrast Paint meets the requirements of ASME Code V, Section V, Article 6, T-641.

· Examination of corrosive ingredients according ASME Code V, Section V, Article 6, T-641
· In correspondence with Lloyd's Reg., Bureau Veritas, Det Norske Veritas, admitted by Framatome ANP

Application:
· Remove fat and oil (e.g. with MR ® 71 Paint Remover) as well as tinder, rust and other contaminations from surface in a suitable manner
· Spray a thin film MR 72 ® White contrast paint (layer thickness max. 40 µm) on the surface and allow to dry for a few seconds
· Apply MR ® 76 S Magnetic powder suspension black or one of our other suspensions (e.g. MR ® 220, MR ® 221, MR ® 225) on the surface during magnetization (e.g. with a MR ® Hand yoke)
· Discontinuities will appear as black magnetic particle indications on the white surface
· After documentation the surface can be cleaned with MR ® 71 Paint Remover
Minimum durability:
· Will keep for a minimum of 4 years, stored at room temperature
