Leak detection

Vacuum leak testers enable fast and reliable leak testing of weld seams on containers, pipelines, and many other welded structures using the bubble testing method in accordance with DIN EN 1593.

This testing method can also be used to inspect castings for continuous defects (cracks, porosity). Leak detection is performed, for example, before a pressure test. VSP leak testers and vacuum bells are also particularly used in cases where the components to be tested are only accessible from one side or when dealing with open structures (such as tank bottoms or containment basins).
