What is TV Inspection?

A pipe camera, or “TV inspection” as it is also called, refers to special videoscopes designed to crawl through pipes, sewers, drains, soil stacks, etc. to perform a visual inspection.

They are usually somewhat larger units than handheld videoscopes, since a working length of more than 30 m is often required, along with a robust construction for working in clogged pipes and similar conditions. They are typically used by plumbing and sewer service companies and dedicated TV inspection firms, but also in industry for examination of process piping and similar applications.
