Test object for easy qualification of computed radiography systems according to the latest standards (ISO 16371-1, ASTM E 2445)
Ultra-compact
With a height of only 20 cm and a width of 27.5 cm, it is the smallest CR Phantom on the market.
The CR Phantom can test all important performance characteristics of a CR scanner system, including basic spatial resolution (unsharpness), contrast, MTF, laser beam jitter, scanner slip and scanner shading. These tests are described in detail in standards ISO 16371-1 and ASTM E 2445 and should be performed regularly to ensure correct and accurate system operation. For easy use of the CR Phantom, a test procedure and D-Tect Viewer software are available as a free download.
To meet the requirements of these standards, the DÜRR NDT CR Phantom includes two duplex wire IQIs and measurement points for shading correction positioned in both axis directions (horizontal and vertical). This makes it possible to map all required information on the imaging plate with a single X-ray exposure – the CR Phantom does not need to be rotated to obtain data from the other axis, resulting in more precise test results and significant time savings.
