GX Orion – Extension Units (L3104 / L3105)

Short introduction
Modular UV-A extension units for GX Orion that extend the illumination area or increase intensity in fixed inspection setups. Choose UV & White (L3104) when integrated white light is useful, or UV (UV-A only) (L3105) when you want maximum UV performance without white light.
 

Applications

• Extend existing GX Orion installations in penetrant and magnetic particle inspections, production lines and stationary test stations.

• Use multiple extension units to cover wide parts or to create overlapping, uniform illumination fields.
   

Tip
One PSU can power up to three lamps. If you need more than three in the same chain, add an extra PSU for every third unit. Use cable bridges or customised cables to create spacing between units if you want to increase the total coverage width.

• Compatibility

  • L3104 is used together with L3100 Remote Mother or L3101 UV & White Mother.

  • L3105 is used together with L3102 UV Mother.
