Structurix S ECO

High capacity

STRUCTURIX S ECO can be set to either a 5 or 8 minute cycle. In both cases the throughput of S ECO is sufficient to meet the needs of high-volume film users or companies with high production peaks. When set to the 5 minute cycle, STRUCTURIX S ECO processes no less than 51 cm of film per minute or 78 films per hour of 35 x 43 cm. In this 5 minute cycle the processor forms the basis of the "ECO Film System". In such a system the STRUCTURIX film, chemistry and processor are all carefully matched to ensure the best possible ecological performance in terms of silver in the wash water while minimising chemistry consumption and waste.

Superior image quality

STRUCTURIX S ECO is perfectly suited for applications that require the highest image quality. The technology in terms of rack design and roller configurations has proven its value in earlier processors. A microprocessor provides "intelligent" control of all process functions. This results in perfect, uniform drying of your films under all ambient conditions.

Precise replenishment

The surface area of the film is measured accurately at the entrance by 11 detection rollers. This unique scanning method controls replenishment far more accurately than a measurement based only on length and therefore keeps replenishment consumption to an efficient minimum.

Anti-crystallisation cycle

STRUCTURIX S ECO has a "run cycle" or "anti-crystallisation cycle" that in standby mode periodically activates the roller transport mechanism for short periods. This cycle keeps the energy consumption to an absolute minimum while preventing crystallisation of chemicals on the rollers and therefore considerably extends processor life.

Processing cycles

The microprocessor has seven pre-programmed processing cycles ranging from 1.5 to 12 minutes. These standard cycles can be set quickly and easily. Simply select the desired cycle time on the display and the other processing parameters such as developer temperature, drying level, fixer temperature and replenishment rates are adjusted automatically.

Customised processing

This feature enables you to manually adjust the processing time from 5 to 12.5 minutes in 30 second steps. The processing parameters can be locked and protected with a special access code.

Reliable electronics

STRUCTURIX S ECO is equipped with highly reliable electronics designed to provide operational safety. All processing parameters, including temperature, speed, replenishment volumes and drying performance, are controlled by a microprocessor.

User convenience

Multifunctional drainage system

STRUCTURIX S ECO is equipped with triple drain valves. This makes it easy to direct photo chemicals and cleaning chemicals to the correct collection tank. The valves also prevent the formation of toxic fumes in the waste chemical collection tank.

Easy maintenance

STRUCTURIX S ECO requires only an absolute minimum of maintenance. The upper parts of the racks can easily be removed and cleaned without taking the racks out of the tanks. STRUCTURIX S ECO is designed and built to facilitate routine cleaning of the film sensor rollers on the feed tray. The rollers are easily accessible by removing the feed tray. To prevent algae growth the wash water is automatically drained when the machine is switched off.

Intuitive control panel

The control panel provides visual information on the processing parameters, including the current processing temperature, cycle time, drying setting, replenishment volumes, OK indication for film insertion and the remaining cycle time. As befits such a universal machine, 12 languages are available for the display messages. The temperature of the developer and dryer can be adjusted stepwise on the control panel to match the selected processing programme.

Unique daylight system

When combined with STRUCTURIX FEEDER, S ECO becomes a unique and convenient daylight system. The feeder automatically follows the film processing speed of the S ECO processor, even when the speed is changed. In cases where STRUCTURIX S ECO is used without a feeder, an optional light-tight cover can be ordered.
