ZGS Couplant - "The better ZG-F!"
Introducing a newly designed coupling medium named ZGS. This couplant replaces ZG-F, which will be discontinued.
The new composition is designed to only contain substances not subject to labelling. It is fully compliant to the REACH directive EG 1907/2006, articles 33/57/59 and the ROHS-directives 2011/65/EU and 2015/863.
Replaced chemicals previously subject to labelling:
- Ethylene glycol by Propylene glycol (basis)
- Sodium-Tetraborate by neutralized Carboxylic acid (corrosion protection)
The technical properties for the application are identical to the replaced ZG-F, especially the ultrasonic coupling characteristics and the viscosity. The color of the couplant has been changed to green. Due to an optical effect based on fluorescent particles in the mixture, the color appears to be brown when having a thickness layer greater than 25 mm.
Easier storage and transport
Due to the new chemical composition, storage and transport for the new ZGS coupling gel is much easier as there are no labeling requirements.
